The Educator

TOM VAN DER GELD started his teaching career in 1971 at Berklee College of Music in Boston. In the meantime he has taught at several universities including the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt, the Musikhochschule Hamburg, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim and Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne.

In addition to his university teaching, TOM VAN DER GELD has conducted several workshops:
